A couple of years ago, the autonomous company Hertz reached an ambitious agreement with Tesla to purchase the Model 3 for autonomous use around the world. The deal was concluded with quite a lot of fanfare, but the results have not been all that bright, Hertz management admits. Now the autonoma has started to sell some of its Model 3s and some of them are available at really very friendly prices.
It is a common practice for autonomous companies to sell older cars and buy newer ones instead. To a certain extent, this can also be attributed to this scenario, however, the management of Hertz has admitted that Tesla cars are rapidly losing their value, but their repairs are very expensive.
Coming back to the topic, namely, the Model 3 sold by Hertz, these cars can really be bought at pleasant prices – Hertz sells cars with approximately 100,000 kilometers for 17-18 thousand dollars. Of course, there are also more expensive cars and machines with higher mileage. Add various support measures for the purchase of used electric cars and the car becomes even cheaper for the customer. The number of available cars is not large – around 350 cars.
