The head of SpaceX and Tesla Elon Musk intends to release a compact electric car for the European market. By data CNBC, this will be a groundbreaking model that is completely engineered and built in a factory in Germany.
At an online conference dedicated to batteries, organized by the German authorities, Elon Musk emphasized that in Europe it might make sense to release a compact car. According to him, it could be a hatchback or something similar:

Musk also shared with conference attendees how difficult it was to park the five-meter Model X in central Berlin. He stated that when he drove it around Berlin, he had quite a few problems finding a parking space that could fit.
