Tesla Launches Wireless Chargers: Do What Apple Airpower Never Did

Tesla has now, together with the Freepower company, launched its own charger for wireless devices such as cellphones and telephones. The design is inspired by the angular look that we recognize from the Cybertruck company’s electric truck. The charger contains 30 so-called “coils”, which means it can handle three devices simultaneously, which can be placed anywhere on the charger. This is the feature that Apple has built into its charging pad Air power, but never managed to deliver. Each device can be charged up to 15W. The charger comes with a 65W power adapter.

Right now, the charger can only be ordered in the US, costs $300, and will start shipping in February 2023.
