The heart of the project is a 24-hour restaurant (“diner”), a kind of drive-in cinema and two dozen Tesla Supercharger charging stations. The building will be erected on Santa Monica Boulevard, so pretty central in Hollywood (Los Angeles), eh NBC reported.
The two-story restaurant will not only offer indoor seating, but also outdoor seating, and according to the submission plans, two additional bars are planned. Incidentally, the cinema is supposed to show programs that last about 30 minutes – which roughly corresponds to the loading time or snack time of the vehicles and their drivers. The idea isn’t entirely new, of course: Musk first tweeted about an “old school drive-in, roller skates & rock restaurant” four years ago.
