Tesla delivered a record number of 343,830 cars in the last quarter – Vision and Sound – News

I have been driving electric for about 5-6 years (4 of them completely), and I must admit that I am a bit spoiled. I thought like you, but recently, for the first time in centuries, I had a “more expensive” ICE car under my back and noticed restlessness. When I was behind the wheel myself, I began to be bothered by the “slowness” of the accelerator pedal. I don’t drive a Tesla, but a Hyundai (yes … don’t say anything), but although of course I am happier with the interior finish with the most luxurious brands, the feeling of the car (throttle response time, acceleration curve , vibration feeling) is an EV is much more beautiful. Not having something that resonates when stationary also helps.

It also surprised me, but the combination of rest and driving appearance ensures that no matter how luxurious it is, I don’t really want to go back to combustion engines. The only thing that could cause vibrations in my electric vehicle is the air conditioning compressor.

However, this is something that people can and can have an opinion on, and there is nothing right / wrong with it. What will happen is that anything other than BEV or FCEV (if we really have a surplus of electricity and can bear a 70% loss, only then FCEV is useful), will have a hard time finding fuel over time. Synthetic fuels (hydrogen + carbon extraction, ~ 90% energy loss) will still allow veterans to drive, so as to preserve a piece of history, but well … I’m digressing …

Taste is very subjective. I recently had a party in a rustic tea house in the north of the Netherlands, an old time tour has arrived. I understand both sides of the story. Those people have fun. Their key project, their child, their “money hole” and the community around it. For me (and other party members) it was a source of noise (conversations were silent, not because people didn’t talk), stink (because the two hits were common in cars too) and a generally negative experience. That rustic teahouse would have benefited more if the Mach-E fan club came along. Is one opinion more valuable than the other? No. Although one of the parties is at a disadvantage (the tea house party was a shame for the 20 minutes that have passed), the bikers … may also have interpreted the angry looks as “rubber”. But the opinion is no less valuable.

The fact remains, however, that in a decade (or a little more, not much more) gasoline will be on sale only in pharmacies, as it once was (before the addition of lead and all the consequences it had … ). Some of those old days will have been converted to electric vehicles and some of them will have been converted to run on synthetic fuel. But also to be part of the story. In a museum.
