The first copy was assembled at the Giga Texas plant in Texas. The corresponding photo was published on the Tesla Twitter page. We hope the company will launch the Cybertruck into mass production and will no longer postpone the release date.
When Elon Musk introduced the Cybertruck in 2019, he promised to start production in 2021. Since then, the dates have been pushed back several times. The company recently promised to start production in the summer of 2023 – and finally delivered on the promise. Although, of course, while this is only one instance.
By the way, in 2019, not only other terms were announced, but also other prices – from $ 39,900 for a single-engine version. But, most likely, there will not be such prices: Musk has already hinted that the cost will increase, and Tesla removed the price list and specifications from the Cybertruck pre-order page a few years ago. As it turned out, the futuristic design is difficult to manufacture, and there are also problems associated with 4680 batteries.
