Tesla Cybertruck an amphibious vehicle: Another of these infamous Elon jokes?

You often laugh twice at Elon Musk’s jokes on Twitter. Because often enough even the craziest announcements were made. There is therefore a certain chance that the Tesla Cybertruck can also swim, become a kind of boat.

Admittedly, the edgy design of the Tesla Cybertruck can be turned into a boat with a little imagination. But only a few thought that the electric pick-up could actually become an amphibious vehicle. Maybe children who place the e-truck in the low-poly design in the sea, together with robot dolphins.

“I think we can do it”

But a screenshot of the video that was shared on Twitter also saw Tesla CEO Elon Musk. His dry comment: “I think we can do it”.

Sentences like this shouldn’t be put on the gold, but Musk has a completely different weight than most other CEOs. Because time and again the SpaceX founder and visionary uses his favorite medium Twitter to announce things that most people dismiss as infantile jokes, but which are actually found in the Musk universe a short time later. A few examples from the recent past.

Musk is obviously a fan of amphibious vehicles. For example, he bought the floatable Lotus Esprit from 1977, which had a leading role in the James Bond film “The Spy Who Loved Me”. He already wanted to convert this vehicle into a functioning amphibious vehicle. However, this has not yet happened.
