Tesla Crashes Into House and Ends Up on its Edge in Bergen: Self-Driven Car Gone Wrong

SELF-DRIVEN CAR?: A relatively alternative parking anyway.

The drive ended abruptly when a Tesla crashed into a house in Bergen on Wednesday evening and ended up on its edge.

The emergency services went to an address in Fana in Bergen just after 7.30pm on Wednesday.

– The car has probably hit the edge of a wall and is standing up against a wall, West police district wrote on Twitter.

– It was a rather panicky message, and those who called in experienced this as completely surreal, says police task leader Frank Listøl, to The Bergen newspaper.

The person in the car got out on their own and no major injuries have been reported.

– When I look at the picture, I don’t understand how this could have happened. If you ask me, I’ll ask you, says operations manager Steinar Hausvik to VG.

The driver has explained himself and has been cleared of health.

– The driver claims that the car has driven itself in connection with parking, Hausvik explains a little later BT.

Evacuation announced

The nearest floors of the building were told that they could be evacuated as the police feared that the car – an electric car – could catch fire, the newspaper writes.

– They were notified of a possible evacuation, but it has not been necessary, says Hausvik to BT just before 9pm.

Just before 9.30 p.m., the police state that they are opening a case, and that the driver’s license has been seized.

The police are waiting for tow trucks to remove the car.
