The case is updated.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is a guest on Tangen’s podcast “In Good Company” on Monday. The interview with Musk is streamed live on X. It takes place on Tangen’s newly created account “NicolaiTang1”.

Tangen opens the interview by asking Musk about artificial intelligence.

– AI is the technology I have seen that advances the fastest. And I’ve seen a lot of technology. Hardly a week goes by without a new announcement, he says.

Musk points to the volume of hardware dedicated to artificial intelligence.

– It increases by what looks like a factor of ten every year, if not every six to nine months.

He points to the combination of hardware and software breakthroughs in artificial intelligence.

– If you look at that curve, it looks wild, says Musk.

– Would like to thank Norway

Tangen asks about Tesla and whether the transition to electric cars is going slower than Musk had expected.

– I think it goes quite quickly actually, especially in Norway, says Musk.

– There are many Teslas in Norway. It’s wild. I want to thank Norway for its support for electric cars, he says.

Musk says that it is only a matter of time before all cars are electric, although the development will not go in a straight line.

– The ultimate victory for electric cars is inevitable, and I think the sooner we get there the better.

However, the interview does not go technically smoothly. Several times the line is broken.

– Are we on? Elon are we on? Elon, can you hear me, Tangen asks during one of the interruptions.
