During the 50th Huesca International Film Festival, British filmmaker Terry Gilliam will receive the Luis Buñuel Award in recognition of his long professional career, with titles that are already part of the history of cinematography such as “Brazil”, “The Fisher King ” or “The knights of the square table and their crazy followers”.
As reported by the organization of the contest, Terry Gilliam will be present on June 15 at the gala in which he will be awarded an award that filmmakers of the stature of Bertrand Tavernier, Stephen Frears, Carlos Saura, Jean-Claude Carrière, Costa-Gavras, Álex de la Iglesia, Gonzalo Suárez, the Taviani brothers or Isabel Coixet.
