For its 4th edition from June 25 to 27, the Abyss Festival unearthed two first-rate headliners

Metal “The Abyss Festival, the annual meeting of lovers of robotic music in Gruyère, is taking on the giants of German thrash metal Destruction this year. The band to Schmier and Mike Sifringer will be one of the main attractions of this 4th edition, scheduled from June 25 to 27, 2020 in Hauteville. They will share the poster with Terror, a relentless hardcore riff machine straight from California.
The owners of the festival that electrifies the shores of Lake Gruyère have also thought of fans of black and death metal. And they have not lost sight of their role as a springboard for the local scene: the Abyss will offer this year a platform of choice to half a dozen Swiss groups, including two from the canton of Friborg: Challenger and its post- stratospheric hardcore as well as the singinese death metal of Dark Colony.
