Lack of documentation of the Iberian company, the routes from the three Sardinian airports to the newborn Italian company after the evaluation of the offers

CAGLIARI. Volotea was excluded from the tender for territorial continuity of the area in an emergency regime from 15 October to 14 May 2022, leaving the field free to Ita. The documentation presented by the Spanish company is lacking. This was decided by the commission chaired by Delfina Spiga. Now Volotea will be able to appeal while the final evaluation of the offers made by the newborn Italian company is missing for the final award.
Only two of the 11 companies invited by the Region showed up at the tender for the three routes from Alghero, Cagliari and Olbia to Milan and Rome, round trip. The Iberian company declared auction discounts increasingly advantageous compared to the competition. But the best economic offer was not enough for the Spaniards to win the 37 million tender. All for an almost negligible but decisive bureaucratic flaw: in the envelopes sent to the transport department, he did not attach the identity document of the legal representative of the company.
