The shocking moment when a motorbike runs over and injures a teacher who was escorting primary school students out of their school in Crete. The terrifying traffic accident unfolded in front of the students’ eyes a few days ago. The footage is shocking.
In the video obtained by MEGA’s Live News, the children can be seen moving forward, followed by the 26-year-old teacher accompanying them. They are walking on the side of the road, while the 26-year-old is next to them for safety reasons.
That is exactly the moment when a passing motorcycle, moving at speed and without having visibility, attempts to overtake a red van from the right and then the shocking traffic accident takes place.
The motorcycle crashes into the teacher, who is swept away and collapses on the pavement, fortunately without serious injuries.
The driver in turn falls down and rolls onto the road alongside the red van seen in the footage. With a deft maneuver he bounces and manages to get over the teacher avoiding being hit.
The 26-year-old teacher was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
In all this, the good thing was that the bike did not fall on any student, but the unpleasant thing was that the minor children became spectators of a terrible accident.
