New 4 497 cases of coronavirus have been identified in our country. This means that the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Bulgaria for the last day has increased dramatically compared to Sunday, when they were 983, and Saturday – 2 537.
However, the number of tests performed on Sunday was much higher – 19,424, of which 9,033 were PCR (2,041 infected) and 10,391 were antigen tests (2,456 infected). For comparison, on Sunday the tests performed were 4,094, and on Saturday – 11,931.
Unfortunately, the bad news doesn’t stop there. In the past 24 hours, there have been 203 deaths from coronavirus, informs the Unified Information Portal. Thus, the total number of victims became 12,913.
3,112 people were cured in the last 24 hours.
The number of patients in our country has already reached 333,250, the active cases are 67,864.
A total of 252,473 people were cured. 9,679 people were hospitalized, 752 were in the intensive care unit.
