Experienced yachtsman Pep Philoseros said he was chased by a pod of five killer whales as he sailed off the coast of Cape Vincent in Portugal on his way to France’s Royan.
About it informs The Mirror.
The sailor began to fear for his life after large killer whales tore off the steering wheel of his boat. Ultimately, Philoseros was forced to issue a distress signal.
According to the victim, a flock of five killer whales attacked his boat, he also managed to capture wild marine animals on video.
On the published footage, you can see how the killer whales attack, and the rudder of the boat is destroyed “in one minute.”
According to the 70-year-old man, he also heard the hull of the boat crack. A rescue boat arrived 15 minutes after the incident, but even then the attack did not stop. The killer whale attack continued for another half hour, even as the Oxygene was being towed back to shore.
The Cursor wrote earlier that experts say a killer whale named Gladys is training her fellow killer whales to attack yachts around Gibraltar after she was hit by a boat or caught in an illegal fishing net.
