A bus carrying illegal migrants overturned in Sivas County in eastern Turkey. According to initial data, three people died on the spot and 27 were injured in the accident.
The Istanbul-registered passenger bus, which allegedly carried 38 irregular migrants, was traveling to a refugee reception center. The vehicle went out of control due to heavy rain around 07:30 local time (06:30 Bulgarian time) on the Malatya-Kayseri highway.
There are fears that the number of injured may increase.
Numerous rescue teams and ambulances intervened on the spot.
One of the five policemen in the car was injured.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
