Terrible accident at Mugello in qualifying for the Italian Moto3 GP: Dupasquier rescued on the track

Very bad accident during the Q2 of the Moto3 qualifying of the Italian GP. Contact between several bikes during the final seconds of the session with Jason Dupasquier’s bike going crazy that overwhelmed those of Ayumu Sasaki and Jeremy Alcoba. The latter immediately recovered after the initial stunning, while the other two required the intervention of rescue on the track. The most worrying situation is that concerning the 19-year-old Swiss Dupasquier who after the impact remained helpless in the center of the track with the rushing Alcoba who by his own admission hit him in the legs while the Japanese rolled into the escape route and from the first ones. rumors seem to have only reported a trauma to the neck which should not, however, have more serious consequences.

This accident occurred in the “blind” corner of Arrabbiata immediately put an end to the qualifying session with the Sic 58 team rider Tatsu Suzuki who thus conquered the pole position, but to keep everyone apprehensive are the conditions of the two riders involved in the terrible accident. Due to this accident, the MotoGP FP4s have also been postponed.

Jason Dupasquier after being rescued on the track was taken from the helicopter (landed on the track because the conditions of the Swiss pilot did not allow him to move to another place) to be transferred to a nearby hospital in Florence (probably the Careggi). The situation is very serious. No communication yet from the MotoGP that is awaiting the responses of the clinical examinations the 19-year-old will undergo.
