Give back to the city its tourists, coming out of the Covid-19 health crisis and make Chartres and Eure-et-Loir the new tourist destination before exploring the Loire Valley Castles, or after a stopover in Paris… The SPL C’Chartres Tourism puts the small dishes in the big ones to connect the capital of Eure-et-Loir and all the departmental territory, with in particular a new brand and signature.
“Terres de Chartres” and “Plaisir Cathédrale” have been unveileds Friday 11 June 2021, on the occasion of the open doors of the Maison du Saumon, the Chartres Tourist Office.
The municipalities and communities of municipalities that have joined C’Chartres Tourisme will now be able to proudly display the Terres de Chartres brand. “The land, because we are in Beauce, but we also touch the Perche and Dunois”, specifies Philippe Rossat, general manager of C’Chartres Tourisme.
Make the cathedral’s popularity an asset to attract tourists
And play on the shadow of Notre-Dame de Chartres cathedral, with Plaisir Cathédrale. “It must not obscure the richness of the territory which surrounds us, which is only pleasure, so we handle the paradox”, continues Isabelle Mesnard, president of the SPL C’Chartres Tourisme, which forms, with Philippe Rossat, a duo shock to boost tourism in Eure-et-Loir.
From Chartrains to foreign tourists
