On Saturday March 18, the Terre et Vie campus of agricultural high schools in Capou-Montauban and Moissac opened its doors to the public. The program was rich in activities.
Pupils, students and the educational team of the Establishment answered questions about the training provided and provided information on the pre-registration procedure. The day’s program was rich in activities to allow the public to obtain as much information as possible on the various training courses and professions in public agricultural education. All areas of expertise were presented by educational information stands: general and technological education, arboriculture, agriculture and plant production, equipment maintenance, personal services, trade, landscaping. In order to show these skills as well as possible, trade demonstrations have been set up.
The participants were also able to make free visits in the presence of students, teachers and staff members, visit the boarding school, the farm, etc. With a novelty this year: a special apprenticeship job dating in the presence of several partner companies.
The establishment welcomed internship supervisors to the Capou and Moissac sites for the traditional visit.
The Moissac agricultural high school took advantage of this day to award the diplomas to the students of the 2022 class and welcome a group of former students to meet and share a friendly moment.
Civic Incentive Award
At the same time as this day, students were awarded the prize for encouraging good citizenship. Congratulations to the students of the agricultural schools of Capou-Montauban and Moissac: Esteban, Hajar and Hugo, with a prize awarded by the association of the National Order of Merit. Congratulations for their commitment to serving others. Special mention to Emma, a former student of the Capou agricultural high school, who received the prize in 2021 and who signed up as a standard bearer.
