In Journey Mode, you can play characters created only for this mode, who will receive an expanded starting set of items. In all other modes these characters cannot be used.
In the new mode, players will be able to explore any items in order to later duplicate them at any time. For example, you need to spend 100 units of this resource on tree research. Resources are duplicated in piles, and weapons, armor and accessories – one at a time.
The authors remind that there are more than 5000 items in Terraria, so the interface will have a search bar and filters. The research and duplicate system works in multiplayer.
In Journey Mode, it will also be possible to control time (slow down, accelerate, freeze and select the time of day) and weather (rainfall, wind strength and direction). In addition, players will be able to change the complexity of the game and the number of opponents in real time.
Finally, gamers will be able to enable and disable Godmode and the spread of infection, as well as increase the range of placement of blocks.
