Third consecutive useful result for Trastevere, the fourth away where they are unbeaten since the Guidonia match last September 15th. At the Mario Colavolpe, against the hosts Terracina, it ended 2-1 for the Amaranths thanks to a brace from Crescenzo, who reached 50 with the local club. Tonni’s goal two minutes into the ninetieth minute was useless for Palo’s team.
Bernardini is forced to give up Lorusso from the first minute due to the center forward’s less than perfect physical condition, in his place is Marsilii with Conte advanced to leave room for Iacoponi in defense compared to the draw against Olbia in the midweek round. Terracina, one point in the last two days, have only won at home this season against Sassari Latte Dolce in the third round. The guests maintained control of the match from the start and commanded the operations, coming close to scoring with Crescenzo. The midfielder from Trastevere broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute: a corner from the right by Ferrante kicked back and a winning insertion at the near post, with the ball going into the opposite corner where Truppo couldn’t reach. In the second half the script didn’t change and Trastevere doubled their lead in the 77th minute, again with Crescenzo. This time Ferrante takes charge of kicking a free kick from the attacking midfield, the Terracino defense clears it short, Schettini heads it into the area and Crescenzo finds an impossible corner with the right winger for the 2-0. In the final, the hosts try to get back into the game and succeed in the 88th minute with Tonni who, having started in a suspected offside position, finalizes a counterattack following the development of a corner in favor of the Amaranths. In full recovery, Trastevere risks a sensational defeat, on a corner action spoiled by a push against Schettini but Manni makes a decisive intervention and secures the three points. Trastevere rises to 14 and will challenge Savoia at the Stadium next Sunday.
