It’s been four years now. No one could believe that a ‘slave’ had to live on a terrace in Deurne. However, that was the situation in which Flor (67) found himself. It then dawned on Flor himself that he had indeed become a victim of the Macedonian family that exploited him. “I still don’t really know why I let it get this far,” says Flor today, with his supervisor at Payoke next to him. “Could it happen to me again? I do not think so.”
