Generally, borrowers must complete a health questionnaire. However, the latter is removed for real estate loans of less than €200,000 and whose term occurs before the 60e borrower’s birthday. A couple can thus borrow up to €400,000 without having to submit to a health questionnaire. This measure avoids an unjustified premium and allows more people to access mortgages regardless of their medical history. The questions that appear in the health questionnaire depend on its nature since two types of questionnaires exist, one being simplified and the other more detailed, depending on the pathologies. This questionnaire invites you to provide various information such as your personal history over the past 10 years, your current illnesses and treatments, your weight and height, any pensions, your status as a disabled worker or not, recognized by the MDPH or the ALD , etc
