Terje Øksnes bought a share for NOK 2,000. This is how he secured an apartment in Trikkebyen over 20 years ago. Now a recent judgment states that he owns the apartment at Møhlenpris. It gives residents of 101 apartments a rare Christmas present and a tax-free gain of millions.
On the Friday before Christmas, the Supreme Court rejected an appeal in the case. The judgment is thus legally binding.
But all the uncertainty over a number of years has been difficult.
– As long as you fight, things will go well, says Terje Øksnes.
The 54-year-old lives in a 37 square meter apartment on the third floor at Møhlenpris. Here he has two balconies and a view of Puddefjorden.
