“Ter Stegen On Verge of Breaking LaLiga Clean Sheet Record as Barcelona Dominates Standings”

Barcelona on the verge of winning LaLiga. Robert Lewandowski specifically praised the Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Barcelona’s back line is so solid LaLiga this season. The Blaugrana have only conceded 11 goals after 33 matches.

Ter Stegen, who has always been trusted to guard Barcelona’s goal in LaLiga, has so far recorded 25 clean sheets. The German goalkeeper has a big chance of breaking the record in LaLiga.

Ter Stegen only needs one more clean sheet to equal Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Francisco Liano’s record of 26 clean sheets in 1993/1994. Ter Stegen will also set a record for the fewest goals conceded if he concedes less than five goals in the remaining five matches.

“This is Ter Stegen’s season. Football is a team sport, but Marc is very good in many games and I’m sure he will get a record,” Lewandowski said as reported by Football Espana.

“I’m very happy for him because I know how hard he worked to achieve it,” he said.

Barcelona leads Spanish league standings with 82 points from 33 matches. Xavi Hernandez’s troops can lock in the LaLiga title if they win over Espanyol, Monday (15/5) in the morning WIB.
