The 55-year-old Piet Sanders replaces Francis Kint, who announced his departure at the beginning of January from the specialist in meat products and prepared dishes.
–
That news then came as a surprise, especially as Kint had been at the head of the East Flemish company for less than three years at that time. On June 30, he effectively stopped as CEO of Ter Beke
after a not so obvious period for the food producer.
–
Ter Beke’s board of directors took ample time to look for a new CEO. After ‘a thorough selection procedure’, the choice fell on Piet Sanders, who is a lawyer by training. He worked successively at Amylum Group (later Tate & Lyle Group) and at Reynaers Aluminium.
