But, in addition, at the proposal of Judge Felipe Fuentes, it was resolved to assume full jurisdiction as the superior chamber to analyze the substance of the reforms instead of returning the matter to the National Electoral Institute (INE) so that it could carry out a study on the legality of the reforms. reforms.
In this way, the plenary session revoked the INE resolution that indicated that the PRI incurred in illegality by making modifications in the electoral process, since it ended until August 28 and the PRI made the changes on July 7.
With the votes in favor of the presiding magistrate Mónica Soto and the magistrates Felipe Fuentes and Felipe de la Mata, they endorsed all the statutory modifications of the PRI, so Alejandro “Alito” Moreno will be able to continue as national leader of this party for up to four years further.
