The Pokémon Go gamer community is one of the largest and most popular in the world, due to the innovative dynamics present in the video game. On the other hand, it is well known that the places where Pokémon trainers meet are not always in the best conditions, it is for this reason that a campaign was launched to rehabilitate and maintain these public spaces.
It was in the community of Maquixco, municipality of San Juan Teotihuacán in the State of Mexico, where a large number of players gathered to rehabilitate the Cultu Parque de Maquixco, later the participants organized themselves into groups with names of some of the species in the game, and they put to work to carry out various tasks in this place where they commonly meet.
In this park, the Pokémon trainers carried out cleaning tasks in the entire area, in addition they repainted all the infrastructure present in the area. They also put up pedestrian crossing signs and installed fences to improve user safety.
Finally, gym equipment, new lights and charging centers were also installed for users visiting this park.
