Series of drone attacks Ukraine hit fuel and energy resources in the Kaluga region, Russiaon Monday (25/11) local time. This is the latest cross-border attack by Kyiv against Moscow’s energy resources.

“As a result of the operations of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, fuel and energy facilities in the Kaluga region of Russia were attacked overnight,” a Ukrainian military intelligence source was quoted as saying. AFPMonday (25/11/2024).

The application was submitted when the authorities Kharkiv – Ukraine’s second largest city – reports that about 19 people were injured in a Russian missile attack on the city center near the border.

Kyiv and Moscow have recently intensified cross-border drone and missile attacks. Last week, Russia launched its latest hypersonic missile, called the Oreshnik, in an attack on Ukrainian territory, prompting calls for de-escalation.

The Governor of Kaluga, in his statement, said that the air defense system in his region had successfully shot down eight drones. But he confirmed that an “industrial company” suffered a fire as a result of the attack.

Kaluga is known to be located south of Moscow, the capital of Russia.
