The alarming situation on the Ukrainian border, which is increasing tensions between Russia, the United States and other NATO countries, reports TV3 News.
On April 3, the Kremlin said that the development was frightening and that any increased presence of US and NATO forces in Ukraine “would require additional measures by Russia to ensure its security.” At the same time, Russia denies concentrating its army on Ukraine’s borders and blames Ukraine for provoking provocations.
“Unfortunately, the situation on the line is really scary. There are provocations on the part of Ukraine, and they happen again, they are not isolated incidents. The presence of US and NATO troops in Ukraine or near the Russian border would require us to take steps to ensure our security, ”said the Kremlin.
Washington has reportedly warned Russia not to intimidate Ukraine. The situation worsened last week when the Ukrainian army announced that Russia was concentrating its troops on the Ukrainian border and that Moscow-backed terrorist gangs were violating the ceasefire agreement.
