Dissatisfaction against the government’s pension reform plans continues
Tension between the police and some of the protesters during the protest in Paris today, Reuters reported.
Masked protesters set trash cans on fire and tried to erect barricades, riot police used tear gas to disperse the crowd.

This Saturday was the seventh day of large-scale protests in France organized by unions. The discontent is against the pension reform, which foresees raising the retirement age to 64 years.
According to the law enforcement agencies, around 368,000 people protested across the country today, while the unions said there were more than 1 million.
In Paris, there were 48,000 protesters, police said. Due to the tension, 12 people were arrested.
