“We want our parking! We want our parking!”, chanted more than a hundred demonstrators, while dozens of others in favor of future routes for bicycles came to counter-demonstrate.

Several cycle path projects in the Saint-Michel and Parc-Extension neighborhoods have removed hundreds of parking spaces or are in the process of doing so.

Some demonstrators who clashed almost came to blows, forcing police officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) to intervene and separate the groups of protesters.
