“Darkness Into Light” events draw tens of thousands in more than 15 countries
Over the weekend, “Darkness Into Light” events took place in more than 15 countries, drawing tens of thousands of participants. The annual event aims to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention charity Pieta, and involves participants walking across various locations as the sun rises. In Cork, the event saw the largest number of participants, with events taking place across the city. The events were covered by RTE.ie, Independent.ie, Anglo Celt, and EchoLive.ie.
