Tennis tips today – matches today from November 13th.
The tennis crown of 2024 will be awarded! For several years now, the eight best players of the season have been coming together to play for the champion at the ATP Finals. Or as you could say this time: everyone against Jannik Sinner!
The high-flyer from South Tyrol is the absolute top favorite, behind him Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz are particularly highly regarded. Exactly these two will get back into the ring on Wednesday.

Tennis tips today – November 13th, 2024
Since 2017, Alexander Zverev has competed in the finals when he is fit. On Wednesday he wants to get the next points after his opening win and can perhaps make the semi-finals clear. For this, Casper Ruud, the Alcaraz conqueror, has to be beaten!
Carlos Alcaraz was extremely disappointing in his start and has to improve enormously in order not to be eliminated early. He competes against Andrey Rublev, there are definitely easier tasks.

Tennis tips today November 13th: Carlos Alcaraz – Andrey Rublev (2:00 p.m.)
What a big surprise! At the start of the finals, Carlos Alcaraz lost 1-6, 5-7 against Casper Ruud and didn’t fend off any of his opponent’s four break chances. Last year he also started with a defeat (against Zverev) but ended up making it to the semi-finals!
Perhaps the positive omen: The second matchday brought a clean win against Rublev. The Russian is also facing him now and is the underdog with odds of 3.30 to 1.30. He is also under pressure because his start was 4-6, 4-6 against Alexander Zverev.

Alcaraz vs Rublev

That’s why I’m betting on 3 sentences for Alcaraz vs. Rublev:
- Rublev already won once against Alcaraz in 2024.
- Both are under pressure after their opening defeats.
- Both were unable to fend off an opponent’s break in the first round.
Tennis tips today November 13th: Alexander Zverev – Casper Ruud (4:30 p.m.)
This is how it can continue for Alexander Zverev! The world number 2 started the finals with a 6-4, 6-4 against Andrey Rublev. There shouldn’t be a defeat now, because in 2023 he was eliminated in the preliminary round with the SNS yield. Does he like Casper Ruud?
Zverev is clearly favored with odds of 1.15 to 5.30. He leads the direct comparison with 4:2 and also won at the French Open this year. But Ruud won a brilliant 6-1, 7-5 against Carlos Alcaraz, after very weak months. In 2022, when he last competed in the finals, he also won the first match. And lo and behold: he ended up making it to the final!
Our expert tip: Tiebreak

Zverev vs. Ruud
Odds as of November 12, 2024, 7 a.m. Information provided without guarantee. The odds are subject to ongoing adjustments and may have changed in the meantime. 18+ | Please note the terms and conditions!
That’s why I’m betting on a tiebreaker for Zverev vs. Ruud:
- Zverev didn’t give Rublev a chance to break!
- Ruud, however, used all four against Alcaraz.
- There have been tiebreaks for Alexander Zverev in every preliminary round of the finals so far.
