Although he has proven to be one of the best players on the circuit, tennis star Holger Rune is reluctant to cut his ties with the Mouratoglou Academy and has added more academy staff to his team.
The Danish prodigy has been working with the Mouratoglou Academy for seven years. Additionally, Rune has been trained by renowned tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou, and their collaboration has lasted for a year.

Rune continues to collaborate with the academy after incorporating Becker and Luthi to the team
Retired German star Boris Becker joined Rune’s coaching team in October 2023, and the former world No. 1 was joined late last year by Roger Federer’s former coach Severin Luthi. Now it appears that more members of the Mouratoglou Academy will also be taking part, as MTA members Louis Fresneau (physiotherapist), Mike James (performance analyst) and Lapo Becherini (physical trainer) have been announced to be part of the Rune team in 2024.
“I am looking forward to expanding my collaboration with the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy. Thank you for your loyal support and for making it possible,” Rune said on Instagram.
