Perfect “Tennis Family”
“He has a great backhand and a high level of intelligence,” says Günter Bresnik, at whose academy Misolic was trained and to which he always returns, most recently three months ago. It’s not just on the field that Misolic has advantages over other players. “He’s a low-key person, almost a little shy. And extremely well brought up,” says Bresnik. Misolic comes from a family of doctors who let their son do his job. “The father does everything for his career, but doesn’t interfere at all, you rarely find that in tennis.” In other words: Misolic has an environment that other players could only wish for.
Bresnik does not want to get involved in the prognosis as to which ranking Misolic can still achieve. “The top 100 is only a matter of time now, with a Challenger title he’s probably already in there. It will be important that he can compete with the best. Best at the Grand Slam tournaments. In any case, he has every chance, also because of his mentality.”
