However, experts doubt whether or not he will be able to make a convincing return to the sport. Recently, tennis legend Tim Henman claimed that it would not be easy for Roger Federer to make a successful comeback.
He believes that his previous level was so high that it would be difficult for him to compete with that energy. “His old level is so high that he’s not going to come back just to get the numbers back,” Henman said.
The expert stated that even though Roger Federer is trying hard for his return, it won’t be that easy. He mentioned that the legend would turn forty this August, and age would certainly act as an obstacle for him.
The 46-year-old also accepted that Federer would not return just for the numbers, but would also aim to win tournaments and majors. “He wants to compete again to win the biggest and best tournaments.
