Munich tennis participant Peter Gojowczyk was removed in the 2nd round of the ATP tournament in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The 33-yr-outdated lost 4: 6, 2: 6 to Belarusian Ilya Ivashka (# 11).
Soon after Daniel Altmaier (Kempen), the 2nd German starter was eliminated in the 1st spherical. For Gojowczyk it was a mixed dress rehearsal for the US Open in New York (from 29 August). At tournaments in Atlanta and Washington, the previous Davis Cup player was removed in the first spherical.
