“It’s a wonderful process”
“Well, who cares about me right now? This is really just a racket. For, for future junior players, other professional players, but also for amateur players. So I’m trying to combine all the knowledge I’ve gained over the last 30 years into this racket. It’s a great process and I’m very happy with the end result, to be honest.”confided Roger Federer, before adding another layer.
“If you play with a racket too long…”
“Usually people play with one racket and then maybe five or ten years later they buy another one. In tennis, maybe we haven’t explained well enough that if you play with one racket for too long, the kick point gets all over the place. And that’s why I hope that through this story and my racket, you’ll say, ‘You know what? Maybe I should buy a racket once a year, twice a year, every other year,’” he concluded Roger Federer in remarks reported by We Love Tennis.
