Equipment used by Federer will be available at an auction on June 23. Then, an online auction will be open from June 23 to July 14.
Among these equipments, some will have a high value. Indeed, it will be possible to buy Federer’s outfit or racket during his victory at Roland Garros in 2009, or that of his victory against Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon in 2007. The money raised thanks to these sales will be donated to the Roger Federer Foundation.
In relation to these actions, the Swiss said “Each piece in these auctions represents a moment in my tennis career and allows me to share some of my personal archives with my fans around the world. Most importantly, the proceeds will support the Roger Federer Foundation to help us continue to provide educational resources to children in Africa and Switzerland. ”
