Teningen: “Our world can be changed fairly” – 1st fair education week in Teningen

The municipality of Teningen has been a fair trade municipality since the end of January. With this in mind, from 18.-23. October 2020 the 1st fair education week with 4 events in the auditorium of the Theodor-Frank-Realschule.

The start is on Sunday, October 18th at 5:00 p.m. Pupils from the vocational schools in Lahr will exhibit their works of art on the topic of Fairtrade, which can be seen throughout the week. The vernissage is musically framed by Mr. Klaus Wallmeier.

On Monday evening, October 19, 7:00 p.m., we have Ms. Inge Rosenkranz, ambassador for creation, as our guest. She lectures and designs a workshop on the topic: Visions 2030 -17 goals for a sustainable world. It is invited to listen and think along.

On Wednesday, October 21, 7:00 p.m. Mr. Markus Radke, speaker of the Protestant regional church in the environmental sector, will come. The motto of this evening is we-buy-differently. Mr. Radke opens up new, different perspectives on our shopping behavior and more.

The first fair education week will be concluded on Friday evening, October 23rd at 6.30 pm with the film “Cheap, cheap, banana, a food item is being sold. The visitors have more space here to enter into discussion using the example of the banana.
The entire population is invited to the 1st fair education week.
At all events there are information and sales stands about regional and fair products. A specially arranged book table is available in the media library throughout the week.
The events take place under the appropriate hygiene and distance measures.
