Tenerife passes Covid19 risk level 1 and the Government establishes a common curfew for all the Islands | Radio Club Tenerife | Hour 25 Canary Islands

The Government of the Canary Islands has decided to maintain the risk levels of Covid19 that until now have been applied in each of the islands, except in Tenerife, which passes to level 1. Given the possible risk of increased infections during the Carnival festivities, the regional government has provided an additional security measure: establish a single homogeneous curfew applicable to all islands.

As detailed by the spokesman for the Autonomous Executive Julio Pérez, from the Friday 12 at 00:00 a common curfew is established for all the islands of the Archipelago until the 22nd regardless of the color of the Covid19 risk traffic light from 22:00 to 06:00.

In addition, from that moment, as specified, the number of people that can meet in levels 1 and 2 will be restricted, which will be a maximum of six people; on level 3, 4 people; on level 4, 2 people. Nor will the consumption of standing drinks be allowed and, in general, any bar service and any type of parties and / or crowds will be prohibited. The restaurant services will be obliged to close from 22:00. All private parties are prohibited and public transport reduces its capacity by half.

The spokesman for the Executive has also specified after the celebration of the Governing Council that there have been contacts with several municipalities to coordinate and adopt adequate surveillance measures during these days of Carnival.

In addition, Pérez has also celebrated the vaccination rhythm of the Archipelago. “We have reached 40,346 people vaccinated”, celebrated the Torres Executive spokesman who, despite noting that there are not too many, “if they are encouraging numbers” to meet the vaccination objectives established “if there are no errors in the deliveries of the doses, “he clarified.
