Suara.com – One of the companies game largest in China, Tencent, in collaboration with the police, succeeded in arresting a big game cheat maker. The group of game makers consists of 10 people and sells cheats for popular games such as Overwatch and Call of Duty Mobile.

According to Chinese media, the game cheat users are spread across hundreds of countries and regions in the world. Reporting from Gizchina on Sunday (4/4/2021), this arrest is an attempt to curb cheating in online games.

This may seem harmless to some, but costs businesses that make millions of dollars in e-Sports tournament prizes and live broadcasts.

A survey conducted in 2019 revealed about a third of gamers used cheats. For that reason, some high-ranking players left the gaming platform due to increased cheating.

On the other hand, Activision has banned more than 70,000 users for cheating. One of the most common cheats is the use of “aimbot”, a system that allows a more accurate firing of a competitor without the need for manual aiming.

Another popular cheat trick is the “wallhack”, which allows the user to see the location of other players in the game and attack through opaque objects such as walls.
