Of the ten victims, eight were minors, ranging in age from twelve to sixteen. Because he portrayed the underage victims, the court also finds M. guilty of the possession of child pornography. The court also stated that the man assaulted his then girlfriend in 2019.

The Public Prosecution Service (OM) had demanded fifteen years in prison and a hospital order. “In our opinion, the verdict does not do justice to what the victims went through”, the OM said in a response. “The seriousness, degree of violence and a previous conviction for a rape play a role in this.”
The Public Prosecution deems it likely that she will appeal. “But a final decision will follow.”
M. was also convicted of rape in 2012. Then after going out, he kissed a girl in a nature reserve, after which “something snapped inside him”. He threw her on the ground, hit her, and raped her.
