Ten people in the province of Groningen have been tested positive for the corona virus since last Saturday. This is evident from data from the Corona dashboard of the national government.
According to the dashboard, 1.7 people out of 100,000 inhabitants in Groningen were told that they were infected with the virus. Most infections were found in the municipality of Groningen. Open data from the RIVM shows that 6 people in the municipality were tested positive. In the municipality of Het Hogeland 1 person was tested positive, in Delfzijl 2 and in Veendam 1. In the other municipalities, the counter remained at 0 during the past 24 hours.
If the number of positive infections over the past week is added together, the municipality of Groningen also leads this ranking with 36 infections, the Westerkwartier 3, Het Hogeland 2, Delfzijl 11, Appingedam 1, Veendam 9, Midden-Groningen 1, Pekela 1 and Westerwolde 2. In the other municipalities, the counter remained at 0.
Nationally, 507 people have been tested positive since Saturday. In the past seven days, this concerns 4,438 infections.
