Fulda (rg) – The state of Hesse announced the latest figures on the coronavirus on Wednesday afternoon. According to this, a total of 303,606 cases, 1028 more than 24 hours previously, were reported in Hesse. There are 7622 fatalities (+1). According to the RKI, 289,300 infected people are healthy again in Hesse, so there are currently 6684 active cases of corona sufferers in our state (727 more than yesterday). The incidence in the whole of Hesse rises to 60.6. In Hesse, 64 percent of the population have now been vaccinated once, and 57.9 percent are fully vaccinated (update 7 p.m.).

In Hessen, the city of Frankfurt has the most new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days. The incidence is 88.2. It is followed by the city of Offenbach with 85.2, the city of Kassel with 82.1, the district of Fulda with 78.0 and the Main-Kinzig district with 77.5. The Hersfeld-Rotenburg district has an incidence of 35.6 and the Vogelsberg district has an incidence of 24.6. The Werra-Meißner district has the lowest incidence in Hesse at 14.9.
The number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic in the Fulda district is 13,897 this evening and has increased by ten since this morning and by ten since yesterday evening. So far there have been 279 fatalities (+0). 13,313 corona cases have been released from surveillance, so that there are currently 305 people infected with Covid-19. The incidence is unlikely to change much tomorrow.
There are currently 14 infected people in the hospital in the Fulda district. Three corona patients are in the intensive care unit, none is ventilated. The deaths, broken down by age: 0-14 years: none; 15-34 years: one; 35 – 59 years: five; 60 – 79 years: 68; over 80 years: 205.
There have been corona cases in the “Zum Heiligen Kreuz” day care center in Hünfeld in the past 14 days. There were no cases in schools. In the past 14 days, the following new cases were registered by municipality: Fulda 165, Künzell 32, Hünfeld 26, Petersberg 25, Neuhof 18, Flieden 18, Eichenzell 15, Eiterfeld 13, Gersfeld 8, Hosenfeld 7, Großenlüder 5, Nüsttal 4, Bad Salzschlirf 4, Burghaun 2, Dipperz 2, Hilders 2, Ebersburg 2, Hofbieber 2, Tann 2, Kalbach 1, Ehrenberg 0, Poppenhausen 0 and Rasdorf 0. It is important to note that in many cases the place of residence is not the place of infection .
According to the RKI, there are currently 3,889,173 corona cases in Germany, 11,561 more than yesterday. 92,061 people died from the virus (+39). 3,710,500 infected people are healthy again. This means that we are currently at 86,612 people infected with corona nationwide. That is 7222 cases more than yesterday. The incidence in Germany rises to 61.3. In Germany, 64.4 percent of the population have been vaccinated once, and 59.4 percent are fully vaccinated.
