Their arrival in the Big Apple was announced a few days ago: Monday July 18, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in New York. The Duke of Sussex has indeed been invited to deliver a speech at an informal conference organized by the United Nations, on the occasion of Nelson Mandela International Day. No one knows, however, if the couple’s two children, Archie (3 years old) and Lilibet (1 year old) have also made the trip from California, where the Sussexes have lived for more than two years.
As usual, and unlike the modest Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived on Monday morning hand in hand, all smiles in front of the photographers. For this new outing for two, the 40-year-old former American actress bet on a sleek work outfit: a black, close-fitting midi dress, a Mulberry handbag and a simple ponytail.

Facing his wife installed in the public, the 37-year-old Briton then spoke on subjects that are close to his heart: climate change or the fight against poverty.

Already in September 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had made a trip to New York. A move all the more noticed as it was their first series of formal commitments since leaving the British monarchy (in March 2020).
