In the context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdullah Bouhabib, thanked the response of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and all the concerned Emirati authorities for their cooperation in addressing this issue.
In a statement, the ministry indicated that it “is keen on the strong fraternal ties between Lebanon and the UAE for the good of our two countries and peoples.”
To that, confirm Lebanon’s ambassador to the UAE, Fouad Shehab, denounced to “An-Nahar” that “the released detainees are now in their homes, and they are free to stay or travel.”
