Following an overvoltage problem encountered in an electrical cabin, the traffic lights at the intersection on the chaussées de Mons and chaussées de Valenciennes were temporarily inactive.
The SPW announced Monday that they had been restored since the end of the morning, but that the public lighting would not be functional for an indefinite period, the time of the repair.
This impacts the following roads:
1. The N56 between the Liberation roundabout (boulevard de Mons) and the crossroads formed by ch. de Mons/rue de Beaumont/chemin du Vieux Ath.
2. Chaussée de Tournai (left side towards stock Ath).
3. Rue Gérard Dubois (right side towards the main square).
4. The Valenciennes causeway.
5. The streets of the Grand Pont, the Station, Léon Trullin, the viaduct, the Pont d’Or and the quay of the warehouse.
