Temporary Suspension of Payments for Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine and Requirements for Places of Residence

As the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Daria Marchak said earlier, since the beginning of the audit, payments have ceased to accrue for 130,000 internally displaced persons.

Verification can be carried out for the following reasons:

information on registration of persons as internally displaced within one territorial society; receiving notification from public authorities, local governments, enterprises, institutions, public associations or individuals about a change in the actual location of IDPs; verification results in accordance with the criteria for the appointment of the specified assistance.

It should be noted that migrants should be warned about checking in advance, namely in two days.

If at the time of the check the person is not at the actual place of residence, then within 14 days the person must contact the social protection authority. If there are confirmed reasons for the absence, then within thirty days it is necessary to provide the social security authority with documents confirming this.

If this is not done, then the calculation of the payment is temporarily stopped.
